English Landscapes completed the hard and soft landscaping, which regenerated this site from a physically and visually inaccessible waste land to the high quality new park which resides there today.
The works undertaken included:
Demolition and removal of existing reinforced concrete retaining wall Removal of approx. 1,500 cubic metres of contaminated soil Construction of new brick retaining walls Erection of wrought iron fencing panels Supply and installation of play equipment Tarmacing of play area and footpaths Import of topsoil Planting of both herbaceous perennials and hardy shrubs Planting of a linear wildflower meadow and a mini woodland
A three year maintenance period followed practical completion
