BALI Award Winner 1994 - Soft Landscape Construction

English Landscapes completed the hard and soft landscaping around Prudential's HQ in Reading, Berkshire.

The works undertaken included:

Supply and spreading of topsoil to all external planting areas
Importation of gravel crusted concrete for pathways
Importation of sterilised loam to a raised podium
Supply and planing of sem-mature trees, specimen shrubs, climbers, herbaceous plants and bulbs
Construction of Greenheart timber baulks and timber decking
Co-ordination, design, supply and installation of an irrigation system to the raised podium

A three year maintenance period followed practical completion
