Doug Graham – Group Finance Director
Married with two sons, Doug lives in Cornwall. He enjoys Sea Kayaking and is a qualified FA football coach.
Doug has over 25 years experience in financial roles including over 15 years working in senior finance roles for support service and manufacturing companies.
Since joining The Landscape Group in June 2008, following the MBO, Doug and his team have contributed to the continued success of the Group, with turnover increasing from £38m to £51m. A key part of Doug’s role involves supporting the commercial and operational teams, ensuring operational cash resources and systems are adequate to deliver quality projects.
During 2009, the first major project was implemented with an upgrade to the contract accounting system together with implementation of a uniform purchase ordering module.
Doug has extensive experience of working with private equity backed businesses, including M&A transactions and manages the relationship between shareholders and the banking institutions.
His role includes implementing systems, policies and procedures to support a controlled growth of the business. He brings with him a broad experience of implementing SAP and Oracle ERP solutions in previous roles.
Prior to joining The Landscape Group, Doug spent 5 years at Homeserve Plc and during this period contributed to a group turnover growth from £120m to £500m per annum. This included the provision of heating and maintenance services to public sector clients, including over 10,000 homes in the London Borough of Hillingdon. Whilst at Homeserve, Doug led the successful implementation of a 250 user mobile data solution, eliminating paper based processes and automating service appointment scheduling and job tracking. Prior to his role at Homeserve, Doug held senior finance posts at Caradon and Baxi both of which were private equity backed businesses.
