Doug Graham – Chief Finance Officer idverde UK

RESPONSIBILITIES

Doug is primarily responsible for all financial planning, control and reporting matters within idverde UK and is also a member of the main Group board. He plays an active role in the M&A strategy for the group. A key part of Doug’s role involves the forward looking aspects of the business, ensuring that the direction of travel is aligned to the aspirations of our stakeholders and customers, ensuring that processes and systems are continually developed, and that sufficient funding is available for capital investment and working capital to support the growth plans for the business. Doug is also responsible for IT, legal and Company Secretary matters for the UK.

EXPERIENCE

Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Doug has held a number of Senior posts in large organisations, both PLCs and privately owned companies, with turnover ranging from £50m to £500m. His experience spans across manufacturing and support services. Prior to joining idverde in 2008, Doug worked for Homeserve, helping to grow the business following its divestment from South Staffordshire Water Plc, where he was Finance Director for the Heating Installations and Maintenance Division, building the business and managing its successful sale to npower in 2007. All of the businesses in which Doug has worked have involved multi site and mobile operations. Doug has considerable experience in dealing with banks and private equity investors.
